Transjakarta Will Operate Until 2 AM During New Year

Transjakarta bus operational will remain operate on celebration of New Year's Eve. It aims to provide easiness for Jakartans who want to enjoy the event.

Director of PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta), Budi Kaliwono disclosed his side is still in discussion how to operate the bus until 2 AM in all corridors.

"We see again its operational time, we're still discussing about its operational until 2 AM," he stated, at City Hall, Thursday (12/19).

Here Is Traffic Diversion During Car Free Night

As planned, as many as 300 buses will operate during New Year's Eve. The number will increase than night transport (Amari), which is only 60 buses.

"Every night, we operate 60 buses. But, this time, we will operate 300 buses. But it is limited, only at some corridors," he expressed.

Nevertheless, Transjakarta bus will serve all corridors. A few of corridors that become service are corridor 1 (Blok M-Kota) and corridor 5 (Kampung Melayu-Ancol).

"We know there are entertainment stages at some places of Jakarta Provincial Government. It will become an integral part of services conducted by Transjakarta. Our main corridor service is 1 and 5," he finished.
